Five FCBE Alumni Honored as Super Women in Business

Memphis Business Journal recently announced its list of this year’s top 25 “Super Women in Business” awards.
This program honors women in different industries who have achieved significant success
through leadership in business and community contribution. Five of the award winners
are Fogelman College MBA graduates.
Emily Greer, Chief Administrative Officer at ALSAC/St. Jude Research Hospital, graduated
from the Executive MBA program in 2006. Donna Abney, Executive Vice President at Methodist
Le Bonheur Healthcare, graduated from the Executive MBA program in 1983. Dawn Fitzgerald,
Chief Executive Officer of QSource, graduated from the Executive MBA program in 2003.
Lauren McHugh, President of Huey’s Restaurants, graduated from the Professional MBA
program in 1993. And, Kimberly Young, Chief Financial Officer of Baptist Medical Group,
graduated from the Professional MBA program in 1990.
“We are extremely proud of these movers and shakers,” said Dean Rajiv Grover. “It
rewarding to see our alumni recognized for their successes in the business community.
Furthermore, they are excellent role models for our current students – especially
the young women.”
All five honorees are key-decision makers in their respective businesses. In addition
to their business successes, the award winners were evaluated on their individual
level of community reinvestment in terms of involvement in nonprofit and community
The second annual Super Women in Business awards luncheon will be held on August 29
at the Hilton of Memphis. Fogelman College of Business and Economics is a pink level
sponsor of this event.
