As an online student at the University of Memphis, you can enjoy easy access to courses and a variety of online resources to facilitate your education. Online learning can provide opportunities to meet other students from all over the world, interact with UofM instructors, and work with instructors from partner institutions. All of our courses are web-based.

To be a successful online student, you need to be a self-disciplined and motivated individual who is able to manage your time well. Want to know if you are ready? Take the ToOLS* assessment.

Please note: you should use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer as your browser in order for the assessment to work properly, and your scores are not reported or available to anyone at the University of Memphis.

eCourseware Upgrade Tutorials

Spring 2014 our online course management system eCourseware underwent a major upgrade. You may learn more about the changes via a new set of video tutorials and other resources linked below.

Student Training Resources

  1. A brief video introducing students to eCourseware can be found at Student Introduction to eCourseware. You will need your official UofM UUID (username) and password to access the tutorials.
