UMAA Scholarship
The Alumni Scholars Program encourages children and grandchildren of Alumni Association members to make the U of M their first choice for higher education. It is designed to build unity and tradition among the U of M family by producing a legacy for relatives of alumni.

Family of dues-paying Alumni Association members any time within the calendar year prior to the application deadline who will be first-time, incoming freshmen are eligible to apply for the scholarship. The award is worth $1,000/year ($500/semester), up to four years. Up to three scholarships will be awarded each year.

J. Wayne Johnson Scholarship presented by Student Ambassador Board
The Student Ambassador Board is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 J. Wayne Johnson Scholarship. Click here to download the application. The deadline is 4:00 pm on Friday, March 28. For more information, contact jpsavell@memphis.edu or 901-678-3119.

Full-time undergraduate students who are classified as juniors or seniors, OR graduating seniors who are attending graduate school at U of M with a 2.75 overall GPA are eligible. The number of deserving and qualified applicants will determine the amount. To be nominated, a student must receive an endorsement by one of the chartered campus organizations president or advisor.


University College Book Scholarship
The application for the 2014-2015 University College Alumni Chapter Book Scholarship is now open. Any graduate or undergraduate student within the University College is eligible to apply. Young Alumni Legacy Scholarship
This $500 scholarship is funded by Young Alumni to help deserving U of M graduates or professional-degree seeking students, who received an undergraduate degree at the U of M, in their studies. The 2014-2015 Young Alumni Legacy Scholarship is now open for application submission! Click here to download the application. The deadline is Friday, May 16 at 4:00 pm. George W. Etheridge Education Alumni Scholarship
The University of Memphis, College of Education, Health and Human Sciences Alumni Chapter established this scholarship in honor of Dr. George W. Etheridge. This award is available to full-time students, both graduate and undergraduate, who have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Recipients will have demonstrated service and leadership to the department, college, university and professional community. Financial need will be considered as part of the selection process. Law Alumni Chapter Scholarships
The Law Alumni Chapter funds several student scholarships including the Law Alumni Honor Student Scholarship, the Pillars of Excellence Law Alumni Scholarship, the Law Alumni Scholarship Award, and the Excellence in Legal Education Award. Luther C. McClellan Alumni Chapter Scholarship
The University of Memphis Alumni Association Luther C. McClellan Chapter awards three annual scholarships to deserving minority students who have shown outstanding academic achievement, leadership qualities, and community involvement. Each student who receives a scholarship receives an award in the amount of $500 for the school year.

The deadline for application submission for the 2014-2015 LCM Alumni Chapter Scholarship has now passed. Please join us on Friday, February 28 at 1:00 pm in the University Center, River Room as we present the scholarship recipients with their award.
