Hispanic Alumni Council The Hispanic Alumni Council will host its first board meeting on Wednesday, February 20, at 5 pm in the Alumni Center. The Council will be discussing possible upcoming events,

UMAR The UMAR Garden Club will meet on Tuesday, February 26, at the Ed & Eunice Ordman’s at 10:00 am. Please RSVP for address. Conversation about
seed planting and house plants will take place on the back porch of home with a slide

On the first Tuesday of each month, the UMAR Breakfast Bunch gathers at 9 am for a casual breakfast at the Perkins Restaurant & Bakery located

On Friday, March 22, at 12:00 noon, join UMAR members to hear who Newsweek states is one of America’s 50 most influential rabbis, Rabbi Micah Greenstein, talk
about how “creation is ever-evolving, unfolding, and brimming with infinite possibilities.”
Lunch will follow on-site in the Waffle Shop. Please note: UMAR members will meet
before noon to park at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral on Poplar Ave. and then ride

Enjoy breakfast with the UMAR Book Club on Tuesday, March 26, at 11 am at Brother Juniper's before discussing this month's literary work, The Greater Journey by David McCullough. The book club meets on the fourth Tuesday of every other month.

The Law Alumni Chapter will co-host the Law Week Launch Party, a gathering of local legal organizations, on Friday, April 26, from 5 to 7 pm in Court Square. This free event will feature food by the BBQ Shop

asked to bring a canned good or monetary donation to support the Mid-South Food Bank.

Education, Health and Human Sciences Alumni Chapter The CEHHS Alumni Chapter is accepting applications for its George W. Etheridge Education
Alumni scholarship. This award is available to full-time students, both graduate and
undergraduate, who have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and are pursuing a degree within
the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. Recipients will have demonstrated
service and leadership to the department, college, university and professional community.
Financial need will be considered as part of the selection process. Application deadline

Save the Date: CEHHS Alumni Chapter will host its annual Hall of Fame Reception & Induction Ceremony at the Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway Hall of Fame on Tuesday, April 23, at 6:00 pm. Come support the College and its 100+ year history, as they honor exceptional
