Pursuing: PhD, Communication Studies - Rhetoric

The courses at The University of Memphis have been both educational and interesting, and each taught by wonderful professors. I've also thoroughly enjoyed participating in conferences. With the communication department's encouragement, I've traveled to San Diego, Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis and New Orleans where I've both presented my own work and learned from nationally recognized scholars. The highlight of my time as a student has been watching my own projects take shape as I work with the faculty to craft my dissertation research.
