I chose the to stay home and attend the University of Memphis because I felt like I fit in here. Although I received scholarships other places, the people I met here had so much Tiger Pride, and it was encouraging. I still was able to go away through my study abroad experience in Brussels.

Focus on Academics

Study, Study, Study! This cannot be stated frequently enough. As a high school student you are aware of the importance of studying. Acing the big test is determined by how successful you are at studying. College is no different. To be successful in college, you must be prepared and that preparation began when you started school so many years ago. However, it is most important now since college admission is determined by your success in high school.

To achieve greater success in life, completing a college education has become one of the most important achievements a student can attain. Therefore, it is important that you focus your efforts on your high school academics and study, study, study. It is also recommended that you research college admission requirements to insure that you're meeting the requirements. You are encouraged to view the University of Memphis high school curriculum requirements online.

Upon admission to the University, you can be better prepared if you've researched and chosen a major, and structured your high school curriculum to prepare you for that chosen major. We invite you to review the academic majors offered at the University of Memphis.
