Transition Thursdays Transition Thursdays

Transferring to a new College can be a stressful time.

What credits will transfer? What are the admission requirements? How do they apply? Is there anything I can do to make my transfer easier? You have questions. We have answers.

If you are considering transferring to the University of Memphis, and have not yet applied, we welcome you to attend Transition Thursdays.  On the first and third Thursday of the month, we provide an opportunity for you to talk to an advisor, get a preliminary evaluation of your transcript, learn about the admissions process, and take a campus tour.  Representatives from the Office of Academic Transfer and Articulation will be available to answer questions.  If you have already submitted your application for admission you are advised to await notification from the Office of Admissions for information in regards to continuing the application process.  NOTE: If you need to determine the status of your application call 901-678-2111.

What to expect from your visit:

  • Join us in Wilder Tower, Room 101 for a *tour of campus at 1:00 p.m. on the first of the month and 1:30 p.m. on the third of the month.

  • Plan to spend some time on campus. Our program ends around 4:00 p.m.

  • Receive information about the transfer process, transfer scholarship options, GPA requirements, and application deadlines.

  • Bring an unofficial copy of your transcript for each college attended.
